Our vintage office

The company I work for was founded 60 years ago. The Amsterdam office on the beautiful Prinsengracht (#720) was opened in 1960.

But, when that house became too small and even the wooden building they had put in the backyard did not give enough room anymore, they moved to the Rivierstaete Building on Amsteldijk in 1975. We are still there today.


For the surprise party of our boss, who turned 85 this week, my NYC colleagues asked us to send in pictures. So together with my colleagues I went through some files and found these 1975 photo's of the office after moving.

Such a shame we do not have this furniture anymore these days. They would be so hip now! But, so thankful for computers.
