Butterflies stand for transformation. First being a caterpillar, then sit in a tight cocoon and transform into a pretty animal we all love.
I have gone through quite a transformation myself last Sunday. I attended a workshop breath-work. It is based on re-birthing. You have to breath quickly and high in the chest as kids do when they are about to start crying. If you do that long enough, your subconsciousness comes up and you can let go of traumas or whatever is there and has been suppressed for a long time.
I cried for most of the 45 minutes the session took. I have no idea why I cried so much. I do know that I have been dealing with stupid fears over the past year. From little things like being afraid to throw up to the fear of fainting while driving. I wanted to let go of that fear. That was my intention last Sunday. And apparently that took quite some tears.
Now my head feels...empty. Clear. It is hard to function normally. They say such a session equals 9 months of psychologist visits. So you can imagine how tiring it is. I will go to bed early again tonight. Slowly but steady I am transforming into my most beautiful and pure self. A butterfly. But before that I feel like cocooning a little more.

wow that is interesting! All I can say is that I cry now a lot after giving birth=P it just comes out no matter how hard I try to hold it in....I hope it will be over with soon =)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh and your mosaic is beautiful!
Great mosaic, interesting what you are saying about breath re-birthing workshop and also interesting you are giving it, or not?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHello my friend,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes, the angel at the table really helped my friend see she wasn't to blame. It sounds like you had just that kind of help. Just the right progress forward for you. I'm so happy for you. We all need tears to wash away all the build up of negative. Wash those fears out of our souls. Be gentle with yourself, what you're feeling now is a newly polished heart, all that tarnish from the hurt that comes with life washed away.
It's hard to remember sometimes that we wouldn't experience the good if we didn't have bad to compare it with. Most of the time bad just hurts and the philosophy behind it is forgotten.
Hugs to you.
Jenn
@Ooty : I see it as washing the soul. Or re-connecting to a side we forgot about or surpressed too long
BeantwoordenVerwijderen@Krosi en Sani: No, I do not teach this workshop myself. I attended it and will surely attend it again sometime. But, I do heal people through energy and breathing, called quantum touch.
@Jennifer: Thank you so much. And thank you for reminding me there is not need to know what the hurt is about. It may just BE.
I cry a lot, from all sorts of things and reasons. I think it is better to let it all out when it needs to go out.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCocooning has its purpose, so enjoy it! I am sure your butterfly self will be very pretty!
Hey, that sounds like an amazing session. I'd be interested to try it myself.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd thanks for checking out my post about my NYC walk - I had a little map, but we basically just followed Broadway all the way down. This article here was helpful:

And you could bring an NYC travel guide or something with you - Manhattan Block by Black is good, as would the NYC Rough Guide too. Let me know if you do it! It was fun.
Wow, intense experience it must have been.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's good to let it all out and to let go of things that are a burden! Well done, Kim!
I think the butterfly is a fantastic way to express this feeling of freedom! :)
