Holiday in Spain pictures

The last 2 weeks of May we went on holiday in Spain. We traveled through Southern Spain, a part called Andalusia. I will be putting up some pictures and stories over the next few weeks. I still have about 350 pictures to go through.. Ready?
We flew at a ridiculous time. We had to get up at 4 to fly at 7:30. Positiv thing was that it allowed us to spend 1 night in Malaga. We spent it in the Petit Palace Plaza. A pretty hotel and located extremely well in the city center but a quiet alley. This bed we had our very first siësta in. Hey, getting up at 4 is not our thing.

We walked around town. They had these flowers on all the lanterns in the big shopping street our hotel was right next to.

Malaga also has a lot of street art. Don't you just love street art? New like this bench.
And old like this fountain.
The houses are all very pretty and..clean! I love clean streets and houses.

What's a city (in Spain) without a huge cathedral.

Next day we took our (way too big Citroen C5) rental car out of the (way too small spot in the ) parking lot and drove towards Granada.
The views were magnificent. We took a touristic route of course. Highways are boring and for people in a hurry. Not for holidays.
Luckily Juri was paying very good attention to the road, because all of a sudden goats were crossing.
There they go. All safely on the other side of the road now. On we go.
See that! Snow! That is the Sierra Nevada mountains. That is where we were heading. Not to the snow, but Granada is right next to it.
